If so, what did you come up with? Is it easy to > implement? What were the results like? Any idea? I'll agree with the earlier sentiment expressed -- CIMPath is no longer supported as of 6.1.01. To pursue this path would be folly, as you will no longer be able to receive new BMR's to CIMPath should you upgrade. For many years, SSA affiliates supported CIMPath as the interface of choice to BPCS, stating that it worked "just like" INV500/510. Not true, was never true. My last two clients took two different paths on this issue. The first, having taken said affiliate advice and used CIMPath only to find the loss of support when they upgraded, created new batch versions of INV500 and 510 for 6.1.01 that could be called from anywhere with the proper parameters. The second client used CIMPath as well, but kept the programs and recompiled them for 6.1.01. The second client took the easiest solution, but will pay in the long run while the first client integrates current BMR's into their batch solution. Now, if the Satanic (oh, sorry, Semantic) Message Gateways would ever work smoothly... Regards! Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
