Note that RTDCS is only for the AS400. Not for any BPCS Unix users.

        Jose ...

We use a third party product with BPCS 4.0.5 from a company called
RTDCS
... I'm pretty sure their software has been adapted to the 6.0
versions of
BPCS. Since I think I heard SSA is going to be dropping support for
CIM in
the future, that's another alternative you might explore.

Subject: CIM - Bar Code implementation

        Hi !

        We are using BPCS 6.0.04
We are thinking of implementing the CIMpath program in order to
input shop
floor labor tickets, inventory transactions and purchase orders,
through
        bar
code scanners, so as to optimize our warehouse in our plant here in
        Argentina.
We are now using basically SFC650 (labor tickets input), PUR550,
QMS550,
        PUR650 and INV500.
Has anyone done this? If so, what did you come up with? Is it easy
to
implement? What were the results like? Any idea?

        Thank you so much.

        Jose Villarreal.
