I'm attempting to bring up the Forecasting module in BPCS 6.1 and am having difficulty getting seasonality tables created for items with seasonality when I run the FOR940 and FOR950 year end programs. There is 3 years of history in the Basis files. The seasonality control code set up in the Item/Warehouse data area is "SH", which instructs the system to use the JSH file for the item. FOR950 is supposed to create that file for the item based on history. However, reading deep into the help text on FOR950, it says that this program won't create a record for items that have a seasonality control code of 'SH'. So how does one get the system to create and use an item specific seasonality table? Incidentally, the help text at 6.02 and 6.04 for FOR950 makes no mention of the fact it won't create tables for items with the SH code. Any ideas on how to get this to work would be appreciated.
