Tom: You are correct, increasing the size of order number would require a very large change to BPCS and include substantial risk. Have you considered restarting the sequence back in the very low digits. I do not know how long you keep your orders around (you might have them from the beginning since there is no BPCS program to purge them) but perhaps archiving old orders and opening up the low numbered order range would be better. This would also assume that you do not have any very old receivables still open. You can change the next order number sequence in SYS800.
