Hi, I've checked FRT for dups. but could not find one.

I'll try debugging the program.

Any more suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Doe for giving me a hint to where to look.

Jessie

you say it hangs, could this mean that it is in a loop? we are on version
6.04 and we experience a loop in SFC500 whenever you try to create a shop
order and there are duplicate routing operations for the part that the order
is being created for. by duplicate operations i mean multiple records in the
frt file with the same item number operation number, method code, etc.

Hello, again to all the gurus....

We are on BPCS v6.04 mixed mode.....

I'm trying to create a Shop Order. Specifying Item Number, Warehouse and the
quantity. Upon pressing Enter the system hangs and does not create the
header. So, I have to end the job.

I've tried to monitor the program and I can see that SFC739B is calling
SYS903B which I suspect there is a date problem within the data.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem. The data by the
way was a conversion from BPCS v3.1. I've checked the date already and the
date is alright. Format of YYYYMMDD.

Any suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

Jessie
