I had sorta the same problem. V4.05CD on V3R7. We'd key shop orders with a
due date of Jan '01 (it didn't matter the exact date)...some would go in and
others would give us an array indexing error in SFC739. For whatever reason
(it's a complicated program) the index was being returned as 680, pointing
at a 366-element array...I did some ugly code to plug 366 in whenever the
index was over 366 and solved MY particular problem.

Is the system hanging/looping/bombing? What's your symptoms? One of the
things I seem to remember from the hazy past was to ensure the shop calendar
is up to snuff.....but that's my only clue.

Subject: SFC500 Shop Order Creation

Hello, again to all the gurus....

We are on BPCS v6.04 mixed mode.....

I'm trying to create a Shop Order. Specifying Item Number, Warehouse and the
quantity. Upon pressing Enter the system hangs and does not create the
header. So, I have to end the job.

I've tried to monitor the program and I can see that SFC739B is calling
SYS903B which I suspect there is a date problem within the data.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem. The data by the
way was a conversion from BPCS v3.1. I've checked the date already and the
date is alright. Format of YYYYMMDD.

Any suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

Jessie
