Don't know about KMR, but if I step into the "wayback machine" to when we 
were upgrading from 5.1.01 to 6.1.01 at another client two or so years ago, I 
seem to recall similar date issues even prior to Y2K for KFP.  I believe that 
the "answer" was that this file gets rebuilt during a regenerative MRP, so 
run one after you convert.  Yeah, right.  We were supposed to run a 
conversion that barely fit into a four day weekend, then turn around and run 
something other than a net change MRP before third shift showed up.  We ended 
up writing our own "date fix" program for KFP...
