Dean, There are a few BMRs that address the problem of not clearing the ECHW & ECLW files correctly, have you checked OGS Online or called the Helpline for assitance? As far as the SSATCP problem passing bad parameters to BIL, do you have the BMR number that was created for this problem? Was it escalated by yourself or the Helpline? If you call the helpline with that BMR number they can tell you its status and escalate it for you if it has not been done already. You know Clare, you're the second or third SSA staff member to suggest I clear the work files. I don't mean to be ugly, but WHY DO YOUR PROGRAMS _LEAVE_ RECORDS IN THE WORK FILES IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Don't give me that "the client crashed" excuse, either. I haven't had enough clients crash within a week of clearing the files to generate 13K+ records. There is something _seriously wrong_ with BPCS, which should be quite easy to correct. Then again, all serious BPCS work seems to have ceased since Gores took over. We reported an occasional problem with the SSATCP jobs sending the wrong number of parameters to a BIL program over six months ago and have yet to receive a fix. Is this the level of support to be expected for BPCS under the Gores regime? Regards, Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
