You missed one little detail in my previous post ... this slick little 
command is not sent to the discussion group e-mail address, but to another 
e-mail address.

Here is what I sent ... notice format of subject of e-mail & same thing in 
the body

Subj:   get bpcs-l info.list-stats

get bpcs-l info.list-stats

& Here is part of what I got back for a reply

... sending to the same address given above (not the list) your message would

get ERP400-l info.list-stats (if there is such a discussion group hosted here)
