Gordon, At first thought, I thought that statement sounded strange also. I checked with our HelpLine and was informed that QMS is designed for a manufacturing environment and WHM for a distribution environment. Receipts into a managed warehouse would not likely trigger QA activities. A typical setup might include: A manufacturing warehouse (non managed) would have a production receipt triggering QA activities. QA activities are done and the lot released and then transferred from the non managed warehouse (production floor) to the managed warehouse (warehouse) for storage and subsequent shipping. I'd be happy to discuss this situation in more detail as it refers to your situation. I can be reached at 312-474-7381. I have got conflicting information that these module cannot function in the same implementation but this seems more than a little strange to me.
