Mark:

We a couple of tools that may be of assistance to you. They all fall in the
category of Advanced Planning and Scheduling applications. Each of the three
partners we have offers a Finite Forward Scheduling component that is designed
to schedule your work centers the most efficient method considering labor rates,
run rates, material costs, etc.

The partners we have are:
Manugistics
Synquest
Taylor Manufacturing

Manugistics and Synquest are full service solutions that can do much more than
Finite Forward Scheduling. Taylor primarily handles Finite Forward Scheduling
at a plant / workcenter level. Interfaces to BPCS exist for all three
applications. If you would like to discuss these further, I would recommend
contacting your Account Manager.

If you need further assistance and I can be of any assistance, please do not
hesitate to call.

We are on v6.0.02.

Does anyone know of a third part product that works in conjunction with BPCS
for people scheduling? I am not referring to payroll or time and attendance,
rather a toll that allows you to set up shifts, crew, departments or
whatever to assign people to work centers.
