There is a fairly easy way of doing this if you have Client Access installed. You write a query that downloads into Excel format from one system. You push it into the other AS/400 through Excel, also. You can download daily, weekly, or monthly depending on what your update requirements are. You have to have the general ledger you are extracting from fully defined on the other AS/400. I had a client we did this with. They had acquired another company. Both were running on AS/400s. One had BPCS, the other did not. They posted the acquired company's general ledger into BPCS at the end of the month for consolidated financial reporting. This was accomplished without any programming. The financial people were trained to run the downloads and uploads. They were in complete control of when the processing was initiated. +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
