  • Subject: Events in Maintenance

Is it possible that an event in Maintenance will
modify the account balances in GSB? The situation is
we had a transaction in error because a program
looping. When the transaction was posted, it generated
an Event with a really huge credit, but the event
staid in Maintenance because it was on error. We
deleted the event and we re-create the transaction. A
new event was generated. However, when we check the
account balances we saw a big differences between the
summarization of the Journal Entries and the balance
in the GSB. It seems like the event in error affected
our account balances. Does anyone have an idea of why?

By the way, I'm on the 6004 mixmode.

Thanks
Jesus Maynez
