Title: RE: ASSET Y2K bug?
Hello,

This is about the 15th letter on this same problem. :-) Please read prior posts on ADK in the past few days for other issues. There are BMRs to fix this problem for  6004 and 6100 ADK and a Readme that thoroughly explains the issue. If you are on any other release of ADK - you must upgrade. Details in prior postings.

Thanks

The best way to clear saved definitions is to do the Asset Reorganization with delete saved definitions yes and number of definition to retain 0.

This is option 8 on the product security menu.

Asset appears to have a problem with the year rollover.   If you are working on
a program which has a prior saved definition from 1999, AS/SET thinks that the
version from 1999 is the most current definition.   Thus if you exit without
saving it will restore the old version of the program and any recent changes
    will be lost.

Has anyone experienced this problem?  I believe the saved definitions are stored
in files WKH, WKD in the ASSET files library.   I think clearing these 2 files
will solve the problem.  Can anyone confirm if this will work? Or is there
    another solution?

    Thanks,
    Thomas
