Hello,

The below information posted by Nazir Hussain is simply not true and is
totally outdated information (at least 3 years old) - this is fixed in
current versions of ADK. Although you are totally welcome to invoke the BPCS
date routine if you wish, this function and other date functions in ADK ARE
fixed in AS/SET 6.0.04 or 6.1.00 versions per the other posts on this
subject.

I am posting this information because apparently despite the well-advertised
advent of Y2K and all such associated software problems, many people did NOT
check about ADK to obtain necessary upgrades or patches.

There are several important ADK BMRS for Y2K for 6.0.04 and 6.1.00. You
should consider it an imperative to obtain them.

ANY LOWER VERSIONS OF ADK ARE NOT Y2K COMPLAINT AND HAVE BEEN SUNSET BY SSA.
YOU MUST UPGRADE TO USE ANY OF THE DATE FUNCTIONALITY IN ADK AS WELL AS TO
GET RID OF BUGS SUCH AS THE SAVED DEFINITION PROBLEM - THE UPGRADE IS FREE
IF YOU ARE A CURRENT ADK CUSTOMER ON SUPPORT.

You also need to obtain a few Y2K ADK BMRs from the FTP site for the
problems mentioned here if you are on 6.0.04 or 6.1.00 ADK. They are all
packaged together in a zip file. All discussions that have been listed here
regarding the ADK problems are all documented on OGS Online and all have
fixes available.

You should be calling the SSA Helpline regarding these problems to obtain
the fixes.

Thanks

Genyphyr Novak
