Don't know if it's the case for you, but I just left a client that had _HORRIBLE_ performance in _ALL_ of their PUR modules. Turns out they hadn't run Purchasing month-end since last April, thus a "bazillion" P/O's and requisitions were sitting out there waiting to be purged. The performance improvement after month-end would have been even _MORE_ significant had they bothered to delete those items that had been sitting out there since 1998...
