Subject: Re: DRP540 Y2K Error ? -Reply

The name of the routine is SBRDAT. We have almost a hundred in house
pgms written in AS/SET so what I did is copy the Y2K ready version of
this routine from an SSA program i think it was ACP??? and commented out
the 176 line routine that was in error.
I did it this way because I hate AS/SET but thats another story.

problems. The problems I encounted are that asset has a century compliant
bug. Programs developed in asset, whether they are BPCS or yours, if
using the date functions to convert dates from one format to another or
number of days does not work correctly. SSA's solution is to run an SSA
command from the commmand line then regenate the asset program which will
add the fix for the century bug. The following is the command used
(CHGCENGEN promt and enter the parms "Y" to enhance century generation
and"40" for rollover year). I know some have changed asset programs to
call the SYS900/SYS903 date programs which also will work but this extra
programming should not be necessary.
