I have not experienced a problem with DRP540 but I have had date related
problems. The problems I encounted are that asset has a century compliant bug.
Programs developed in asset, whether they are BPCS or yours, if using the
date functions to convert dates from one format to another or number of days
does not work correctly. SSA's solution is to run an SSA command from the
commmand line then regenate the asset program which will add the fix for the
century bug. The following is the command used (CHGCENGEN promt and enter the
parms "Y" to enhance century generation and"40" for rollover year). I know
some have changed asset programs to call the SYS900/SYS903 date programs which
also will work but this extra programming should not be necessary.
