Do any of you out there have any ideas that > would help this along ?? > We are currently running 4.05CD and we did demo ARP but > did not get the impression that this solution would help our business issue. > > Lynn A major project for us is that some customers payments tell us what portions of what shipments they are paying for, at the time that they start using the parts, using data that is meaningful to them, but when their requirements are on blanket orders of various quantities of the same part # week after week & the bar code label is what THEY WANT without anything to distinquish one week shipment from any other shipment, it is an accounting project to figure out which invoices they are paying for & what shipments they have not yet paid for. Another accounting project are customers whose accounting departments have no knowlege of the details of what we shipped them, so we have to gather up proof of shipment with signatures of their employees who signed for delivery. Since the same delivery companies are used quite frequently, I am thinking there might be value in asking for some kind of copy of delivery details to customer accounting departments automatically.
