Manus: The term slander is usually reserved to mean the spreading of falsehoods that damage another's reputation. I never mentioned MS4, or any other +/- 28 vendor in my comments so I don't see why you should take this as a personal attack against you, your company or your software. By the sound of it, your product is a +/- 28 solution which you feel has done well in the marketplace. Congratulations. Nonetheless, I stand by my criticisms as facts, rather than falsehoods in my "damning" attack on +/- 28. I would be glad to dismantle your rebuttle to my comments, point-by-point, showing once again that date field expansion is the technically superior solution that is as, or more economical than +/- 28. However, I am not sure that the BPCS-L user group is interested in suffering through ranting banter between two vendors. If anyone is interested in my views on MS4 or your comments, I would give the subscribers of BPCS-L the option to receive such feedback by making it known through the forum. ---------------------- snip -------------------------- >From Manus Bray at Millenuim Group: Following a slanderous and damming email from Mr. Dan Mitchell, President and CTO of Nexgen regarding encapsulation (+/-28), I would like to point out some real facts. . . . ---------------------- snip -------------------------- +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
