Hi Dwight:
It is a very simple change in the material/routing maintenance program. If
the mode is change chain to item master and update IIM/IBUSY ='Y' and reset
the flag to banks after done with maintenance.

Subject: Method of locking items from SFC during MDM changes

We have need to "lock" items while bill of material/routing changes are
made. We want to allow customer order entry but we do not want to allow
new shop orders to be created. Does anyone know of a way to do this in
6.0.04 mixed mode?

Thanks in advance,

Dwight Slessman
