We have all cums loaded for OS/400. > > Wendy DeCair > Country Fresh Inc Check out II11801 - An Info APAR from IBM about running BPCS on V4R3 - it mentions some APARs that are open for BPCS performance and some SQL PTFs that are not on cumes that are required for BPCS to run on that release. It also lists V4R2 PTFs for BPCS version 6 and version 4 problems. When you call the SSA Helpline about performance try calling the Technical Helplines instead of the application lines - you may get a better response from the technical people there. And do try running DBMON and let the SSA technical Helpline analyze the results. What OS/400 were you on before? Have you tried opening a call with the IBM Helpline as well? If performance from OS release to OS release has changed but the software (BPCS) is the same, then IBM should also take a look at it. They already have 2 APARs open for performance problems in BPCS on V4R3 caused by bugs in the SQL optimizer and are fixing them with PTFs. Maybe it is covered by one of those APARs or maybe it is a new issue. +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
