AS/400 MixMode V4r2m0 bpcs V6.0.02

Does anyone know if ORD900 can continue to run while other BPCS normal daily
jobs are running. I realize this might kill performance on the system but
other than that will it hurt anything else.

Has anyone written separate programs for this process. OUr company has not
run this job properly for the last several months and the files are very
large. The job has been run the last couple of weekends but is taking
forever to run due to the size of the files and that it hasn't been run
properly with correct parameters selected. We're currently running it with
the option '3' to both close and purge the files. Up until recently the job
had been run with only the close option therfore the files are very large
and now we are killed by the time it takes to complete. I realize this
initial time may take much longer due to the previous run parameters
selected. Any suggestions. We can rewrite this in RPG is we knew what
files and fields to update. We don't have an ASSET programmer in house.
