Anthony C Kleier@ROBBINSINC 12/21/98 03:36 PM We have had many problems rolling costs with 6.0.02 plf 3/98. There are many BMRs since 3/98 regarding cost roll up. I installed the latest BMR# 45828 last week and received correct results only after clearing the cost set and reentering material costs from scratch then doing a cost roll up. All seems ok now except inter-facility cost transfer seems to continually add labor and overhead costs into the "to" facility this-level zero bucket on each iteration of the program (ie first time ok, second time cost double, third time costs triple). SSA is working on BMR# 47604 to fix this problem. The question was: ----------------- We are implementing BPCS V6.0.02 plf 3/98 cum. For multi-level bills, CST500 is not rolling up costs for the children to the parent correctly. The cost being rolled up does not equal the sum of the children. This does not happen for all items, but we have not found any consistency. Has anyone gotten CST500 to work properly, or seen any problems with CST500? Thanks, Ron Moser Shaklee Corp. Our experience is: ------------------ We had this problem but discovered: You must run BOM reorganization BOM900 prior to rolling up the Costs. This reorganizes where changes have been made in the MDM structures. If this is not done, items where MDM has been changed since the last cost roll up will look correct, but not added up correctly.
