Claire,

Hmmm. Just never has been a problem at any of the V5+ sites I've worked.
Lord knows the current site has lots of individual authorizations, I had to
write a post-conversion program to read a cross-reference table and convert
the old program names from V5 (eg., INV500) to the new ones (eg., INV500D1).
We even modified the authorization program to look for a specific program
beginning with an "*" at signon and use it as an "Initial Program". Perhaps
the 4 system upgrades to get things running well _after_ signon had something
to do with it ;-)?

Regards!
