Susan, In a message dated 97-10-04 22:29:58 EDT, you write: > > BRAVO!! :) When we first got BPCS 3 years ago, we were on processor-based > pricing. Luckily, we are a small shop, but even so, a lot of our "users" no > longer use the system. One side note to all this - one of the stipulations > for going to 4.0.5 is that you get on user-based pricing. Isn't that > special?? (in my best Church Lady voice) Could it be SSAtan?? (Sorry > folks, it's the weekend) <G> SSAtan?!!? Gonna have to add that to my list of "BPCS=Better Programs Coming Soon", and "what can you expect from a company that is ASS backwards"! SSA has _A LOT_ (note that that's TWO words) of talented people working for them. I hate it that those same people are being driven either away or into subordinate roles at the company due to company "direction". It irritates me that Mr. Riz Shakir, a recent addition, is now an Executive VP while Mr. Jim Franch, a long-time employee that actually CARES about BPCS users remains off of the board. IMHO, SSA needs to start concentrating on quality and forgetting the "all things to all people" policy of the recent past. You absolutely CANNOT focus on both UNIX and the AS/400 and do well by either... Cheers! Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
