I feel I didn't say things right - I believe Rational support is really good - we see it here with people like Edmund, who are very responsive and helpful.

When I spoke of "easy to work with", I meant finding how to get support - now I've not had to try, and I probably don't remember any problems I had at first, trying to contact AS/400 support. Yeah, I meant AS/400!! = It's been at least that long!!

So to the Rational support team - thank you for your vigilance in watching this list - maybe some of us remember Violaine Battish (spelling?), who used to haunt this list and give us all manner of great help.

Contacting IBM for support?

I don't mean to sound rude with that question. This list is not IBM
support - it's very cool that some of the Rational support team watch
this list, so I hope they'll give you the answer.

It makes me wonder - how easy is it to get to support for RDP? I don't
know a number, but I have never needed one. I suspect there's a place on
the website to initiate a support request.

The IBM i support has always felt pretty easy to work with - I hope it's
just as easy with Rational products like this.
