with Internet-style history', even when it's obvious that the reply-to
address is an outside address. I often lose count of how many times in a
day I start a reply, only to have to restart it after realizing that the
formatting will look awful on a non-Notes client.

I know I've been guilty of lazy trimming before. I'm trying to get into
the habit - and getting lots of practice since both servers add an "If you
are not the intended recipient ..." type message when I email my wife.
Thanks for the reminder of one reason this is good practice.
