RE: Compile error when using field in a subfield data structure

The main reason that was given for not allowing free-form or +=, -=... is 
because there is no overwhelming business benefit of using them.  Therefore, 
there is no reason for spending time and effort to train all programming staffs 
to use them.

All reasons are debatable.  Just need to choose a method to go with it, it just 
happen to be the one that I didn't like.

Some people just don't want to learn...
I bet when they came from a S/36 to the S38 or iSeries they didn't want to 
adopt this subfile thingy either.  Why, when arrays work perfectly fine? 
Geesh I hate that mentality.
