Re: Transfer of AS/400 File to PC (Excel)

Most obvious, PCs use a backslash \ not a forward slash /.
Secondly, you're not specifying a file name, just a directory
name.

PUT BPCDUSRF/SALEF.JANMBR E:\ANALYSIS\JANMBR.TXT

See if that fixes it.
