Sanjiv,
Since you posted this in the RPG discussion group, can I assume
that you're willing to write a program (in RPG) to do this?

Does the program you're looking to write need to just convert from
format to format, or does it need to transfer the data itself?

Do you know, and understand, what the resulting format of the database
should be? You refer to "PC Format" and there are thousands of
file formats commonly used on the PC.

Why don't you want to use client access? are you having problems with
ir, or don't you have it? or do you just not like it?

Does the prohibition against Client Access apply to other, similar
products as well?

What version of OS/400 are you using?

I'm sure if you give a bit more detail, someone in this
list will be able to point you in the right direction.
