Since someone mentioned the CPYTOIMPF command I felt the need to ask this
question. We are running V4R3 of OS/400 which was only recently upgraded
from V4R2. I have programs which use the CPYTOIMPF command and immediately
after the upgrade to V4R3 the command did not copy the packed decimal data
to the file in the IFS as it had done before. I spoke to our system support
people and they suggested we reclaim storage and rebuild the database
cross-reference table. Now when I run the command interactively it doesn't
copy data at all ! ! !
If I check the joblog I notice a "Pointer not set for location referenced"
message. The program name the message is coming from is QSYS/QCPEXPRT and
the procedure is "Copy_The_Records" . Anybody got any ideas as to what is
going on here?

Regards
John
