Robert,
I think you have that backwards. He's starting with a LF, not a PF. I got
tired of trying to attack that JSON BASED_ON_FILES

Another example is by going to the raw data.
SELECT *
FROM QSYS.QADBLDEP
WHERE DBFFDP='IIML01'
AND DBFLB2='ERPLXF'
;
This may not work for every file but it's a start.

Hi Justin, an sql solution would be

SELECT table_schema, table_name, based_on_files
FROM qsys2.sysfiles
WHERE table_schema = 'MYLIB'
AND table_name = 'MYLogical'
ORDER BY 1;

My LSTFFD tool (which is free) will give you this information and more.

https://bvstools.com/e-rpg/softdesc?software=LSTFFD I can't leave home
without it. I think I wrote this one in the early 90s. :)

Still use it every day and install it on every clients system.

Is there an easy was to programmatically get the PF for a given LF? I
was
hoping for a SQL Service, but I can't find one.
