Back in the day i used SBMNETJOB to run stuff on remote systems.
files were sent via SNADS

Loved that one...

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for SNADS because I like the
functionality of the SAVRST* commands:
- They need a bit less storage (not usually an issue these days)
- They are less hands on
- They are in place/set and forget operations
- SAVRST is arguably easier than FTP, particularly based on some of the
recent threads here
For comparison, the workflow is:
- SAVRSTOBJ ... <Done!>
- CRTSAVF .... SAVOBJ SAVF(xxx) ,,,, FTP SAVF .... RSTOBJ ... <Done!>
oh, forgot the SAVF Housekeeping....
But I don't particularly sweat over not being able to SNADS.

I may have missed something from earlier threads.

Why do you not use SNDTCPSPLF for spool files. It does not needs SNADS and
works well?

Also don't you use DDM to copy files?

Last resort would be FTP, which is fast.
