The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
You're correct. I was wrong about the timing. iAccess for Windows was deprecated before IBMi 7.3, so the newest OS covered by that announcement was 7.2.
We stopped installing the iAccess for Windows client on new PC's when it was deprecated, but there's nothing in iACS to warrant installing it en masse on existing PC's.

Not so fast: IBM specifically cited the LAN console from the old thick client as not supported on V7R3. That has been in every notice about ACS I've seen.
"Most" of the other functionality will continue to run since the servers on the IBM i side are still there and used by ACS, but that begs another
question: Short of I have 1000s of workstations to update, why would you stick with the old, slow, cumbersome, fat, and generally worn out, and mostly unsupported client when the new one is superior in so many ways?
Now I will stipulate that there are some user interface issues in the Navigator for i web based product, but most of the functionality is there between the ACS client and the web presence.
