Ran into an issue where the /PSF400 IFS folder, which is a temporary work area for spoolfiles that are being emailed via InfoPrintServer PDF writer jobs, are locked during the BRMS *link save.
Also, according to IBM support, the files in /PSF400 directories should be getting cleaned up when the writer job ends, but that is not always occurring.

To resolve the writer end issue, I'm considering omitting the /PSF400 folder from the BRMS *link save using QLNKOMT entry. I'm hesitating on this choice because previous QLNKOMT entries caused issues during a BRMS migration and/or recovery.

Another thought is to create a MPLUS action to auto restart the PDF writer job if it ever is not running.

Has anyone run into a similar issue, and if so, how are you handling it?

Thank You
