No, the other way around. VIOS does VSCSI or NPIV storage to an
IBM i which in turns hosts that for another IBM i.

VIOS cannot have any VIRTUAL resources assigned to it.

NPIV tape requires VIOS. IBM i does not do NPIV as that is
virtualizing an ADAPTER not a DEVICE.

IBM i can virtualize SAS attached tape devices to other IBM i
LPARs. (As can VIOS.)
