Kirk, with VIOS you can't do a guest of a guest that is what I
have been told. So I am thinking you would have VIOS and 7.2
or VIOS with 7.1 TR7 or higher.

Yes, an IBM i LPAR which gets its disk via VSCSI from VIOS can
in turn host that storage to another IBM i LPAR.

Performance may be an issue, but there is nothin within the
operating system which will stop you from doing this.
