Outlaw such user names. We have one security officer. I am her backup.
All requests for access to computer equipment go through her. We register
users for Windows and/or IBM i with Tivoli Identity Manager. Rules we've
set up there would not allow such a thing.
Instead of a share try a mount instead. I am getting rather fond of those
versus a share. See "NFS". STRNFSSVR, EXPORTFS, etc.
If you stick with shares you may want to consider a "guest" account.
