If I remember correctly, it has been a while, one work around was to select your spool files, right click, and copy. Then right click and paste on your destination. I think the issue was only on drag and drop, not copy/paste.

There are known issues with drag/drop. Make double sure you have the latest service pack on the PC code (not the host). Odds are really strong once you put the service pack on your problem will disappear.

Hi Cyndi!

Ohh... well, I feel better now that I am not alone... I have Windows 7: will that be one of the reasons why? In addition: this was something that I was able to do in my previous job (V5R4) so I was thinking that with a better OS, better improvements without walking backwards ... ???

Does anybody know how to deal with these besides doing this one by one?

Thank you again Cyndi!

Hi Peter,

On both my 6.1 & now 7.1 systems, I have had to create a folder on the desktop and drag them one at a time to it.
