Chris,

Maybe is because you have your client software up-to-date.

So, I remember that in order to stay up-to-date, I can do that my modifying the System i Access for Windows Properties, more specifically, on the SERVICE tab, there is a path on the SOURCE DIRECTORY box that points to the place where I can grab any updates available directly from the iSeries, if it has been applied.

I am going to use this path: \\ IP Address\qibm\

Now I have an error saying:

********************************************************************
..... PRODDATA\ACCESS\WINDOWS\IMAGE64A, is at System i Access for
Windows service pack level: SI29455.

Your computer is at System i Access for Windows service pack level:
SI31390.

Service Pack ﴾SP﴿ cannot be installed because your computer's service
level is newer than your service source directory's.
********************************************************************

So seems like I am ok.... so I am back on square 1...

I find after drag n drop on win 7 64 bit click on the desktop in a blank space and press f5 to refresh your desktop view. Try it and let us know how it goes. "Works for me :)"

Hi Brian!

Makes sense but I just tried it... did not work. Gets stuck in the file "~drgdrp.tmp" as well...

If I remember correctly, it has been a while, one work around was to select your spool files, right click, and copy. Then right click and paste on your destination. I think the issue was only on drag and drop, not copy/paste.
