Alan,

Are you using Scott's FTPAPI, did you write your own FTP client, or
are you making use of the scripting fuctionality of the i's FTP
client?

I have posted a new utility at www.think400.dk/downloads.htm called FTPOBJ.

This utility consists of a command called FTPOBJ that will FTP 1 to 200
objects between two iSeries systems.

The processing can be run interactive (default) or in batch.

All objects except save files are saved to a save file and then restored on
the remote system. Save files are just transferred directly.

The main advantage of using FTP is speed. It is extremely fast.

Enjoy. Let me know if you questions or concerns.
