If you have MQ Series, I would put that in between the boxes for guaranteed delivery once. In addition, MQ Series does not exhibit the slowdown the data queues do when they exceed their initial storage. However, you still need the data queue or some sort of buffer in the mix for times when MQ Series is quiesced.
