Thank you Rhishabh.

I have checked for storage location in Move Policy using WRKPCYBRM *MOV and the policy which are setup on prod(DAILY/MONTHLY/OFFSITE)  are exactly set up on the new partition as well.

Also on doing WRKDEVBRM the configuration for Prod are also set up on the new partition.

MOVMEDBRM is also set up the same way as it is set up on Prod and runs every day

Apart from the above steps is there anything else which I need to do to setup BRMS.

Many Thanks
Darell

I would like to add few more point to Jim's List , which is that you have to
also decide upon the storage locations for your new tape on the server and
where they have to go after the backup .

If storage locations are not properly configured in Move policy &
Tape/Library device description ( WRKDEVBRM ) backups sometime create
problems and then managing the media at later stages is a tough task .

Also in case if you are planning for network feature then you might also
want to consider how to schedule MOVMEDBRM command as a part of
Maintenance.( Whether you will do media movement from one server or for all
servers individually.  )
