Seriously, nobody is going to be able to give you a better answer with
the information you've provided.

2000 users on a 5250 app is not enough information.

What kind of green screen app, does it use any SQL?

What kind of users, 2000 heads down data entry clerks will take more
horsepower than 2000 users with "think-time" between screens.

The vendor of the app should be able to provide you with a recommendation.

Otherwise, as Dan suggested, you're going to need to collect workload
data and use the IBM Workload Estimator.
