If you have created a writable optical image entry, you might be able to 
do it this way. Because you can write to it, it is in the image catalog 
correctly. But I've never tried installing software from a writable 
virtual optical drive on i.

So I think I'd make an image of the DVD on my PC, then load that as an 
image catalog entry after uploading it to the i.
