I just inspected a couple of boxes of what appears to be mounting
hardware, that came with the 520, and it has me puzzled. And the
"Roadmap for Installing" book isn't, at least at first glance, much help.
I see a pair of honking-big drawer tracks, about 31" long (even though
the 520 is only 23" deep). I can see how they fit into recesses in the
520 case, and how the fixed side hooks into latches on the 520 bezel,
but they also seem to have a limit stop, that keeps them from allowing
the machine to completely clear the front of the rack, as well as some
sort of latches that don't appear to do anything at all. Nor do I see
any obvious way to attach them to the standards of a 19" rack. Packaged
with it is a bag of 5 cap screws, heavier than standard rack-mount
screws, that appear to be designed to accept either an
appropriately-sized wrench, or a large flat or Phillips screwdriver.
I also see some sort of gizmo with a bunch of hinges, one with a
removable pin, and a couple of loose hinge pins, apparently for
attaching it to the back ends of the drawer tracks. Could this be the
"cable management arm"?
Can somebody explain what it is I'm looking at?
