The bustle-looking sheet-metal tray (see my last "supplied equipment" post) certainly does seem to fit the back panel of the box, but (1) what does a rack-mounted system need with a bustle, (2) there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to attach it, and (3) wouldn't something like that interfere with both cabling and ventilation?

Is it maybe just something to protect the back panel during shipping?

Also, what's the direction of airflow on a rack-mount 520? If we do simply set it on the bench in the cage, and put a load-bearing cover over it, I might want to mount an auxiliary fan or two on the cover (we already have a low-voltage bus in place to power it, as I fitted our UPS with an auxiliary fan), to help keep the temperature down.
