And I don't use CPYTOIMPF on any release prior to V6R1. Why? Because
that's all I run. :-)

Actually I wouldn't imbed it in any new code. I may use it for a quickie
one off at the command line.

Even if it wasn't for it's quirks and poor performance there's also the
granularity to consider. My classic example being using cpyFRMimpf to
upload an Access export to DB2. And finding out that one row out of 1500
wouldn't upload because a field was too big. And not being able to figure
out which row. When I wrote my own I was able to figure out that which
column, on which row, was the culprit and to properly handle the
exception. Turns out that someone in the Access data base had a habit of
taking an item number and appending another character on it.
