I also use MKS. I have RPGLE service programs. You cannot do a
CRTBNDSRVPGM. You have to do a CRTRPGMOD followed by a CRTSRVPGM. You
end up promoting two items. And, MKS can easily be set up to not
physically promote your module to your production machines because all it
really needs is the *SRVPGM. I'm no expert on this in MKS and I have a
coworker do this. The same could also be done for your CL situation.
